Journey through historic Nelson County, the boyhood home of Earl Hamner, Jr. (John-Boy) and inspiration for The Waltons television series. Meet characters, GW, Marcia Woolery and Hobie Shank! Learn the Waltons connection to Virginia Wine and enjoy delicious country vittles and Grandma Walton's gingerbread! This ALL-INCLUSIVE fun-filled day tour departs from Virginia Beach Town Center, Downtown Hampton and Richmond, VA, and includes round-trip bus transportation, complimentary continental breakfast, FREE mimosas, live historical entertainment, private tour of the original "Walton's" (Walton Hamner House) home, John & Olivia's B&B, Walton's Mountain Museum, and Walton's Mountain Country Store. All paired with wine education and tastings at award winning family owned vineyards, southern faire lunch, sightseeing and surprises!
